Puppy Health Guarantee

  1. Furever Canine will provide you with a health record for the dog at the time of sale. The health record must contain information as required by the law. 73P.S.s 201-9.3(a)(1)
  2. Furever Canine will provide a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 21 days prior to the date of sale OR a guarantee of good health issued and signed by Furever Canine.
  3. To preserve your rights under the Law, you must take your newly purchased dog to a licensed veterinarian for an examination within ten days of purchase. If a veterinarian determines, within ten days of purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you have the following options:  
  1. Return the dog for a complete refund;
  2. Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value;
  3. Retain the dog and reserve reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price. These options do not apply when Furever Canine has provided a health certificate issued by a veterinarian which mentions the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the dog.
  1. If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your dog has congenital or hereditary defect which adversely affects the animal’s health or that your dog died from a congenital or hereditary defect, you have the following options.
  1. Return the dog for a complete refund;
  2. Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value;
  3. Retain the dog and reserve reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price. These options do not apply when Furever Canine has provided a health certificate issued by a veterinarian which mentions the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the dog.
  1. Within two business days of a veterinarian’s certification of your dog’s illness, defect, or death is discovered you must notify Furever Canine and provide the address and telephone number of the examining veterinarian. Such notice shall be effective upon depositing the mentioned notification in the United States mail or upon other services which provides Furever Canine with the required information. Failure to notify the seller within two business days will result in forfeiture of rights.
  2. Refunds or reimbursement will be made no later than 14 days after Furever Canine receives the veterinarian certification. Veterinarian certification shall be presented to Furever Canine no later than 5 days after you receive the reimbursement or refund.
  3. Registerable Dogs.  If Furever Canine does not provide all documentation to effect registration within 120 days of purchase you may exercise one of the following options:
  1. Return the dog and receive a full refund of the purchase price, OR
  2. Retain the dog and receive a 50% refund of the purchase price.
  1. If the dog is registerable Furever Canine will provide, at the time of sale, the breeder’s name and address, the name and registration number of the dam and sire, and the name and address of the pedigree registry organization where the dam and sire are registered.

Genetic Health Guarantee

Furever Canine offers a genetic health guarantee of one year from the date of the puppy’s birth. This guarantee covers all genetic defect that may have been handed down from their lineage. This guarantee does not cover any communicable disease, internal parasites, external parasites, or injury.

Buyer assumes all responsibility for all vet bills. If a genetic disease is discovered in the puppy a letter from your vet (on business letterhead), stating the nature of the disease and/or disorder will need to be provided to Furever Canine. The letter will need to state that this is a genetic disorder.  The veterinarian’s phone number must be included on the letter., as Furever Canine receives the right to discuss the health condition with the veterinarian. If your puppy is determined to have a genetic disorder, Furever canine will l reimburse the cost for treatment (up to the price of the puppy). Breeder assumes NO direct responsibility for any medical bills for the puppy.  This guarantee is for genetic diseases and disorders only. This guarantee extends from the puppy’s date of birth and is valid until the age specified above.

Our Customer Service Guarantee

Furever Canine guarantees to provide fast and efficient response to questions after you adopt the puppy. Furever Canine will gladly provide advice on any general health, diet, exercise, and registration questions you may have but will not be held liable for any of the costs and fees incurred from following that advice. We recommend consulting a licensed veterinarian for detailed instructions on any pet care related questions.

Reservations and Pre-Payments

To provide security for our puppies we reserve the right to forfeit the reservation of any puppy at any time for any undisclosed reason. If the reservation is denied you will be contacted promptly via either email or phone. Furever Canine never allows more than one reservation per puppy and we always honor the first reservation unless we detect a threat to Furever Canine, our dogs, or our puppies. If the reservation is denied you will receive a credit for the full reservation amount. If the reservation/pre-payment is accepted you will be contacted before the puppy turns eight weeks old.
